Ever since he retired and his boys left for the military, Elias found himself more and more lonely on holidays. After all, they couldn't drop everything to come see him most of the time.

He'd occupy himself with helping out friends and their kids, and with you. A nice new neighbour around his son's age. Elias would always be there to take some of the weight off your shoulders.

He was setting out the Halloween decor, for the kids around and to keep his own spirits up. Noticing your house he thought, why couldn't you help him for a change?

Opening the door you were met with an, as always, smiling Elias. "Mornin', kid." He chuckled, happy to see you. "Got any plans for today? If not, think you could come help with some of this Halloween business?"
