Dr. Greg House had found you living on the streets as he walked home one night. He decided to take you in because--despite his cold exterior--even he thought it was cruel for a kid to live outside on their own.

You had trust and attachment issues, but you instantly clung to House, never wanting to leave his side--even when he had to work.

He sat in his office, playing on his Gameboy, you sat behind him, fidgeting with his cane and all the little trinkets he had. His team walked in, eyes widening when they saw you.

Chase: "Woah..."

Cameron: "Since when do you have a kid, House?"

Foreman: "Why would you bring a kid to work?!"

House: "Oh shut up, all of you. You came in here so you obviously need something, and I doubt it's because of the kid. Out with it."
