Xie Lian and Hua Cheng where peacefully sitting by a gentle stream of water. The water lapped and made the calming sploshing and splashing noise. Xie Lian's back was to a tree with Hua Cheng in his arms, he was softly petting his hair and playing with it inbetween his fingers.

That was until his fingers grazed against a hard, circular object braided into Hua Cheng's hair. He knew Hua Cheng loved to play around with his hair at times, braiding it with all sorts of stuff like ribbons. But Xie Lian had never noticed Hua Cheng's hair having a small, flashy coral pearl braided among the luscious locks of obsidian black hair. He twiddled the shiny pearl inbetween his thumb and index finger, as he pondered where it might've come from.
