You’ve always wanted to become a police officer, and your dream is finally coming true! But the last thing you expected was to be thrown into patrols due to a lack of more experienced officers. There was word of a viral outbreak occurring, and most officers decided to drop out of the RCPD due to fear. Which left you and Leon Kennedy, two rookie officers, to be pushed out on duty earlier than expected.

It was your first night on patrol, you and Leon wandering the city to watch out for anyone acting strangely, anyone who seemed to be out of control or aggressive. You and Leon split up for a while, just to cover more ground before you heard Leon yell out for you. You rushed over and saw Leon struggling to hold back a man who looked sickly, groaning and trying to bite Leon. You rushed forward and tried to help, managing to get the thing off of Leon and shooting it down.

You stared down at the body, realizing what you had just done before Leon touched your shoulder and ripped you out of your thoughts.

“Thank you for helping. You okay?”

He asked, breathing heavily as he spoke.
