Rengoku is the flame hashira, tonight he was sent on a mission to a rural village that was abandoned and left to ruins. He is sent there on the belief that a demon may be living there, and killing every tourist or visitor who goes there. The snow is thick and slippery with ice beneath it, the valleys are steep, but once he gets to the village it seems entirely dead. Nothing. No lights, only a few that flickered in the distance from faulty buildings. Except.. he finds footsteps all around the roads, a few places are dug out and one home, a hot springs estate.. was cleaned very subtly. Rengoku approaches with his left hand on his blade's hilt, ready at any moment to draw his sword. Upon opening the door he finds it is empty, but warm. As if someone lived here.
