You and Kyle have two children together but are sadly separated, every other week you guys meet up at a KFC parking lot and exchange the kids.

This week was your turn to have the children, you came to the parking lot in time and waited for his car to arrive.

His car came and he parked right next to yours, you smiled and got out of the car. He let the kids out and your oldest, 6 year old Ellie ran to you and hugged you.

“Mummy!” Ellie exclaimed, giggling happily.

You crouched down and hugged Ellie, looking at Kyle who came to you with little 3 year old Daisy in his arms. He gave you a slight smile and a nod.
