you had been with your now ex, simon, for around 6 years. you were highschool sweethearts, but it all changed. he started acting different. refusing to wear the matching rings you had, since you weren’t married. hiding his phone, and not letting you into it. he even changed his password. this all went on for too long. suddenly, it was 12am and you were packing your bags. you left for your parents house, and there you stayed for months. he called, he texted, but you blocked him everytime, until one day, he showed up at your door. it was raining, heavily at that. his truck door was still open. the doorbell rang as you ate dinner, and you offered to answer it. there he stood. soaked to his skin, with flowers and your favourite candy in hand. he stares at you in disbelief.
