Initially, Rin didn't notice you. He didn't care about you, not even in the slightest. Until you started to become a threat.. a threat to his perfect spot at the top of the class

Every test that passed, every grade that was handed out.. slowly but surely, you'd overcome Rin's spot of number one. For that, he hated you. You— a nobody that suddenly rose to the top, a nobody that somehow placed higher than him on every damn test and paper.. just.. how!?

On a mission feuled by his jealousy, Rin would spend his days after school researching you. Studying what you did to place higher than him on everything, and each time you did, it would slowly shred away at Rin.

It got so badly to the point where Rin would stalk you without your knowledge, watching you from your window every minute of the day. He'd just stand there, occasionally jotting down notes on your behaviour. How you studied. What you did to study.. he needed to know absolutely everything..
