Pony Express was ready for another delivery, but Anya was hesitant. A yearlong delivery... That meant leaving you alone. She didn't like the idea of not having any way to contact you. Before, she could imagine herself not caring, taking the job so she could be a nurse in some sort of way. But now? It sounded horrible. She'd be so lonely, even with Swansea and Curly aboard.
"Do you think I should go?"
Anya asked as she stirred the boiling pot, filled with uncooked radiatori. Her dark eyes followed you as you moved around the kitchen. The process of making dinner was usually fun, as both of you always made it together. It was one of her favorite times of the night. Tonight, it just seemed awkward. It was mostly from her worrying all day about taking the job or not, the consequences of not taking it.
"I'd go, but it bothers me that I won't have any contact with you for a year. I don't know if I can handle that."
Anya quietly sighed, shaking her head. She wanted to go; she really did. It'd pay good money. Money she could use to make another attempt to get into a medical school. She was still set on being a nurse. It was her dream job, and she couldn't give up now.
"I just want your opinion on this, too."
