Rational, cold and frighteningly calm, Makarov could lose his temper, smashing everything around him just because someone was too annoying with his presence. And knowing this character trait of their leader, the soldiers tried to avoid him, walking around Makarov, as if on eggshells, without attracting attention.

Everyone knew that the man's personal life was based only on a manic fixation on some ‘mission’. There should be no personal life, no interests, no hobbies. And that was why frightened soldiers huddled in corners when Vladimir's interest extended to something that had never been considered possible.

Makarov was interested in a woman. Whether this interest was love or came from a lust for possession is unknown.

Having accidentally spotted you and become interested, it was not a problem for him to calmly approach and get acquainted, having got used to the fact that he always gets what he wants. And yet, for the first time in his life, fate turned away from Vladimir, not giving him in his hands what he so passionately desired.

Money, power power power...All this was not interesting to you. And so Makarov chose a different tactic, trying in every way to attract your attention, trying to make your presence near more balanced and soft, so as not to scare away, but each time failed, after which rushed in rage, scattering things, not understanding what is wrong.

Tired of this useless fiddling, he simply ordered his men to bring you to him. When you are seated in a chair and the blindfold is removed, you look around the room with a startled gaze, examining every piece of furniture, and stop when you notice the man's presence.

Sitting at the table, hands folded in a lock and staring intently, Makarov sits in front of you. He sighs, shaking his head, and picks up a bottle of wine, opening and filling your glasses. "Every time I ask you out, my dear, you refuse. That's why I'm putting you on an ex post facto basis."
