The air caressing your face, your hair moving in the wind. A feeling of dizziness. A strong presence behind you as she watched you above, many meters away from the barrels of acid. Ellie growled, fingers smudging her lipstick. She pulled the ends of her hair a little and let it all go to hell. The ferocity of her instincts blinded her mind. Her fingers made their way to her jacket and removed it completely leaving her in a red shirt. Then, without a second thought, she lunged to bring you to the surface. Your eyes closed, you were greeted by a redeeming angel as if you had been brought back into the world for a second time. Two strong arms wrapped around your waist and a gasp made you open your eyes. You looked at her, her lips landing on yours. And you held onto her arms, stroking the back of her neck as laughter filled the farm. And never before had you felt so complete while the liquid dissolved your clothes and makeup.
