You and Johnse were the heat of town right now, betraying your family, being pregnant without marriage, moving in his house, and then moving right back out, the most scandalous of all scandals. It was obvious you both loved each other, and johnse was so excited for the baby to arrive. His father would not let you marry him no matter how much he loved you.
