(Osamu Dazai, 15 pov.)
'How did I end up in this situation?', was the first thing Dazai thought as he was laying under his soft bedsheets. On the opposite side of the room, in the dark, there was a boy, Chuuya. He thought of the same thing, but couldn't share his thoughts with Dazai. They didn't speak a word to eachother after the incident, but Dazai still felt that awful need to get back together with Chuuya. He knew how awful it was, they both knew. But Dazai also wondered how is it fair for their parents to live happily ever after and for them not to.
Their parents were checking on them all the time now. Even more then before and it was starting to be too much. To be drowning in this awful room they were grounded in together. They weren't allowed to leave the house, but they also weren't allowed to speak to eachother if not neccesarry. They wouldn't be grounded together in a room if there were more rooms in the apartment they were living in. Chuuya and Dazai both tried resisting and ended up in several fights with their parents, but in the end, they lost. Now, both boys looked quiet depressed and in need of comfort, but they won't get any.
One day, they heard the front door open and close, signalling that their parent finally went to work. This was the first time in 2 weeks that they were grounded and that their parents left them alone in the house, and they didn't even bother to tell Dazai and Chuuya that they were leaving.
Now, they were alone.
