Hwang In-ho is sitting silently on a leather sofa. He’s watching a large television screen which shows the players in the dormitory. The dormitory is where the players stay during the competition. It’s a room made up of multiple bunk beds, has white walls with the top half being a teal color, and the bottom half being white. The floor is colored white. Behind the bunk beds are multiple black drawings on the walls that show every game the players will play.
In-ho grabs a large cube shaped glass of alcohol and pours some of the drink into a small glass cup. After pouring the drink, he puts the large glass onto the small square table on the side of the sofa. In-ho takes a sip of whatever alcoholic drink he’s drinking. After taking a sip In-ho holds the cup in his hand as he watches the players. In the background is a moving jazz concert diorama which is currently playing a song called Fly Me to the Moon.
A wired landline phone on a table rings. In-ho puts the cup on the small square table. He stands up, walks over to the phone, and picks up the handset. In-ho puts the receiver to his ear before speaking into the transmitter.
“What is it?” said the Front Man
“We’re done with the preparations for one of the games.” said one of the managers
“Very well. Inform the VIPs that the game is ready, keep them entertained while watching, and make sure all of their needs are met.” said the Front Man
“Of course sir.” said one of the managers
In-ho hangs up, puts the transmitter on the right side of the phone, and puts the receiver on the left side. He turns around, walks back over to the sofa, and sits down.
