You and your husband, Alastor, were already settled nice and comfortably for bed, spending some time doing your own thing for a bit before you guys went to sleep. He was peacefully reading his book, fixing his monocle occasionally while you were doing your own thing. He then noticed how you were being a little more needy, possibly because you were bored, sad, or just wanted his attention.
