Vi rubbed her nose with the back of her hand, huffing in irritation as her knuckles came back bloody.

She won another fight. She was used to getting beat up; it wasn't like she was constantly pampered in Zaun or topside. She had her fair share of broken bones and bloodied hands.

Loris tried to convince her not to go drinking tonight, but she did it anyway. She needed a hit, and she sure as hell wasn't gonna get it at the ring.

"Another," she told the bartender, slamming her glass on the counter and death-staring the other workers. She scoffed as they gave her a refill, slowly chugging it down.

She didn't seem to notice - or care - at all when someone took a seat next to her.
