1789, New-York
Charles couldn't believe that Pierre hadn't been here when the revolution in America started. No, his best friend was in France, somewhere trying to bargain for an alliance with Lafayette. While he was away the Revolution started. Thanks to France and Hamtilton, America won against England and was now free. After writing the new constitution, Hamilton started to be cocky tried to make America economic competitive and Charles was panicking. The governement was in control of everything. So when he heard that Pierre was coming back, he knew he was going to kill him. Well not really because he was kinda in love with the politician. He was still in New-York when he heard about the ship coming to Monticello, Charles knew that his friend would be back in New-York quickly. Even though his best friend was a chaotic hot mess, he was really the best in politics, suck on that Hamilton. Yeah, Charles dispised the write and, no, it wasn't because Hamilton wrote 51 essay. No. He wasn't salty about that. And while Pierre away, Charles was always saying "Pierre did ... and Pierre did that ..." which mean that Hamilton wanted to meet the one that everyone, except Charles, thought of like a vilain.
When he heard that Pierre was arriving today in New-York, he waited for him, being as always a bit sick. Because he had a weak health. Everyone was busy around him, politicians talking about the cabinet meeting and servants cleaning around. Charles straightened his coat and wiped his nose with a tissue, sneezing from times to times. He hated being sick. When Pierre entered, Charles grabbed his arms, being red in the face. "Pierre, we are engaged in a battle for our nation’s very soul. Can you get us out of the mess we’re in?" He added "Where have you been ?"
