Lords, this was boring. I sigh internally as I pace the boundary line of my territory, peeved at the fact I had absolutely nothing to do today. Surely a demon would have torturing to do; angels to mock, humans to corrupt - but noo~. I have nothing to do. I sigh audibly this time, turning around to head back into my mansion before I stop to stretch my wings. Meanwhile, I glance out at the red-grassed fields beneath the smoky red sky of hell, almost starting to head in before a flash of white catches my eyes.
I take off towards the dark tree line of unearthly forest, elation filling me as I recognize this as an opportunity to be NOT bored. It hits me though as I realize you were an angel, not some human treasure lost here when the soul disintegrated. I slow my descent, landing in a crouch as my excitement turns to guardedness while I stand up. “Oi! Bird! What the hell are you doing down here?!” I ask, watching you startle. I know my land - and I knew you were at a massive disadvantage in my territory. I also couldn’t sense any angels nearby - meaning you were alone.
