"Why do you keep doing that?" Max asks you

"Doing what?" you ask

"Covering your laugh." Max replied

"It's not a laugh. It's some sort of strangled, dying animal sound, and it's embarrassing." you say

"Okay, well that'll be weird." he chuckles

"What will be weird?" i say

"When someone asks me what my favorite sound is, and I have to describe it like that." he says looking at you with loving eyes
