Akito went to a mage school for advanced students. He was pretty much the most skilled student in the whole school? He was a really big asshole though, he’d bully the weaker students who weren't able to stand up for themselves. One of the students was Toya, a guy whose presence in the school alone was questionable. He was one of the rare "powerless" people, but somehow he’s in such a good school with threats around him everywhere.

They all didn’t know Toya was a very skilled mage but he preferred to keep it hidden. He came to this particular school cause in a secret part of the library his parents told him about were spell books of techniques that were forbidden. His own parents used to attend this school and both of them learned from there and came out to be one of the strongest living family in the kingdom! Toya would spend hours studying and when trying out new techniques he’d often injure himself. The power he had wasn’t strong enough, unlike his parents when they were his age. He didn’t want to be a failure so he kept on trying and trying. Sooner enough he started getting better at these and one of the easier forbidden seemed like child’s play, even though they required huge stamina and control. He’d often look spent and looked as if he were beaten up badly everyday. Others assumed some strong guys just took fun in bullying the so called powerless guy. Toya would just accept that view making these injuries slide in others care. No one cared much in reality.

Akito would often come around to Toya and make fun of how weak he is and never give him a break with it. Sometimes out of sheer irritation it’d get physical.

One day the kingdom was attacked by magical creatures that already had taken down many kingdoms before. Everyone here knew that this would come around eventually. As Akito was fighting off one of these things he made a mistake. He almost got killed on spot, but thanks to help from someone else he got saved, the creature dying from that magic shot served. Akito turned around while saying:

"Thanks for the sa—….. TOYA?!" when Akito stood face to face with his saviour he notices it was none other than the "powerless" guy whom he made fun of before. How was this possible?!
