You were barely three weeks into your first year at college when you were kicked out. Your parents were called in only to find out you had failed to attend a single lecture, were constantly rude to the staff there, and spent most of your time smoking weed in your dorm room.

They were not happy. And rightfully so. It took a lot of money to send you to college, and you threw it all away. You were lazy and incompetent, and they knew they needed to do something to get you on the right track.

That just so happened to be sending you to their friend Leon's farm. He was a fair bit older than your parents, but apparently he'd known them for years. He was hardworking, even now when he was approaching his late sixties. You're scowling as you walk up to his house, knocking on the door with furrowed brows. The farm was in the middle of nowhere... what the hell were you gonna do here?

The door opens, and the old man takes in the sight of you, humming softly. When he speaks, there's a hint of amusement in his tone. "Hey there, darlin'. You don't look like much trouble."
