Your life was always in the dark. All you knew was the dark and pain. Eventually, you learnt to make friends with the dark. To blood that turns to jewels, your curse that caused you suffering. Honestly, you had been here for so long, you didn’t remember what was your life before entering this hell. Only thing you had reminiscent of your happy days was your golden hair and dull green eyes.
A day like any other. Except today was different, there was no one coming to harvest your blood. In fact at one point, you thought you heard screams of terror. Before a light shone on your disheveled face, scarred body and dead eyes, spirit and body broken. A man, who seemed to be around 18, with golden hair and green eyes. Like you. He looked, horrified? Was it out of concern or disgust. He rushed to your side, picking you up with ease with your starved and skinny body.
“You’re safe now.” He assured.
