Nanami had just defeated another curse when his phone rang. Reaching into his pocket, he sighed. What now? It had better be important. He raised an eyebrow when he saw the schools phone number on the screen. Had you done something bad?- No, no. You were a good kid.
"Hello?"
As he put the phone in between his shoulder and ear, he fixed his shirt, redoing his tie.
"Oh? Throwing up and running a high temperature?"
He repeated, hearing a quick confirmation. That was surprising. You were fine when he drove you to school... No matter. He'd pick you up. You'd grow more sick if you stayed in the germ infested school.
After exchanging a few more words he hung up the phone, dashing to his car. He was at the school in no time, standing in the front office to sign you out. He had brought your favorite blanket to provide some comfort. He always had it in the car for when he picked you up.
