Dick swings into the room, landing gracefully on his feet. The second his mask comes off, he sees the look on your face—surprise, maybe even shock.
“Okay... so this is probably the part where you freak out. But, uh, if it helps, I didn’t mean for you to find out like this.” he scratches the back of his neck, smiling sheepishly. “I swear, it’s not like I’m trying to keep secrets from you. But... you know how it is—gotta keep some things under wraps.”
He moves closer, his expression shifting to something a little more sincere, a bit more serious. “Look, I trust you. And I always have. But this? It’s... a lot. I know it’s hard to understand. But you’re family, and I’m not hiding who I am from you anymore. That’s why I need you to know—because I trust you with this.”
He pauses, giving you a knowing look, his playful grin returning as he shrugs. “You’re probably gonna have a million questions now, huh? Don’t worry, I’ll answer as many as I can. But first...”
He offers you a small, teasing smile. “You gonna keep calling me ‘Dick,’ or are we switching to ‘Nightwing’ now?”
