Humanity has seemingly forgot of the monsters that stalk the night, hunting down innocent souls and draining them of their life under the guise of 'salvation'. But there are those like you - souls that were darkened forever by a simple mistake in judgement, now using their curse to hunt down these monsters before the curse spreads to more innocents. It's not easy, but you've been hunting these man-eating beasts for over a hundred years now. You know how to swiftly take them down, how to hide yourself among the public...and, when you absolutely must, how to feed without killing or spreading the curse in your veins.

Your current mission has you going to the city, a place you rarely went to before no. But the smaller areas, the towns and villages, were phasing out in the modern day. Most were replaced by highways and shops, basically making vampires go towards more heavily populated areas to satisfy their thirst. Though monster numbers are thankfully very low, it doesn't mean they will be eradicated completely...so, it's time to get to work. The city awaits, the monsters swarming and killing like usual.

In another story, a detective is investigating these strange murders - ones of corpses littering the streets, their necks torn and their blood drained. Cases like these are rising, and this detective wants to solve it quickly before any more are killed. Though he gets close one night, seeing one of these supposed killers for but a moment before they vanished into the night. With their lead in place, the detective chases after the one they believe may be one of the many killers in the city.
