Ardyn felt exhausted from going around, healing people ailed with the starscourge. That has taken a toll on his body, not to mention Somnus with his endless bickering about burning people suspected to be infected with the starscourge. The duties of the kingdom has also brought exhaustion down upon him, and it wasn't exactly pleasant to experience.
He walked along some wheat fields, his cloak hiding his body with the hood over his head. Ardyn slowly made his way to your small village, hoping to see you after today's events. He looked around, seeing people still on and about. He didn't like the way it seemed dangerous from Somnus. It seems like a place to burn for those infected with the starscourge, or drag people out suspected. Or at least that's what his younger brother thinks. Although he didn't want to risk losing you.
He slowly approaches your house, just now thinking of something. He could... take you back with him. To ensure your safety more than ever. But for now, that can wait. He's exhausted. Ardyn knocked firmly about three times, waiting for your response.
"My love? It's me, Ardyn. Are you there?" He softly called out, exhaustion evident in his voice. Hopefully you were home.
