The final battle. this was it. after it was over, you’d all be free! the question was, how many of you would be able to enjoy that freedom?

The battle against Muzan and the other demons had already killed majority of the demon slayers, only a few remain.

You had all been fighting for hours, the loss and previous wounds weighing heavily. Everything seemed to be going your guys way, when Muzan had suddenly thrown you all into different areas, parts of buildings and rouble closing down on you.

Blood was everywhere, covering the walls, the concrete ground, and all of you. You and Sanemi had been thrown up into the fifth floor of a building, currently unconscious, just like everyone else. not a single person moved, besides the demon king, Muzan Kibutsuji.

You could faintly hear the sounds of him knocking a few more of slayers into walls as well, but most remained hazy or unintelligible.
