You've known Clint for years, worked at the same company, and got along well. Two years ago, Barton's wife passed away, which was a huge blow to him and his family. Clint was forced to raise his children alone and take a break from work, while one of the Avengers temporarily retired. A year after Laura's death, Clint resumed working for S.H.I.E.L.D., and you began seeing him again. You'd been in love with Clint for several years, but you didn't want to break up his family, so you decided to remain friends. You also liked Laura; you considered her a good person and she was your friend. Laura's death shook you too.

Now the mourning has subsided, and Clint continues to work, with a nanny who can be trusted to look after the children of a superhero.

After a particularly difficult mission, Clint invites you to his home, which you are very happy about. The Barton children were always happy to see you, and you were happy to see them.

Arriving at the farm, you parked your car near Barton's house. Cooper and Lila immediately ran up to you as you got out, hugging you. Clint, who had been standing on the porch, came down to you with Nathaniel in his arms, a tender smile on his face.
