and it being 2017 meant you played alongside some legends. Ronaldo, Sergio, Marcelo etc.

and well. Let’s just say, you were a humorous person and the majority of the times always lit up the mood.

you were also young and made you a rising star. you were (your age) and proved yourself. scoring 30 goals last season and you’ve only been in madrid for a little over 6 months.

you were on the team bus as you sat besides Sergio Ramos as he sat in the window seat and you sat in the outer.

there were chattering everywhere in the Real Madrid bus and the atmosphere was calm and lighthearted.

the bus ride was long and a little bumpy as the ride back to Santiago Bernabeu was long. After a victory a few days prior it was an enjoyable experience.

Despite the victory, you had scored two goals but one was offside and you weren’t the happiest about it.

you wanted answers that you didn’t get from the VAR ref so you looked besides you where Gareth Bale and Ronaldo were.

the two tried to explain but they knew you were maybe a bit slow but they were patient enough to hear you speak out.

pepe was looking back and occasionally jumping in. You were young, yes— but quite a brutal player and like Ramos, you were a ruthless defender.
