Days. Maybe weeks. That's for how long the Forest's roots held {{user}} tightly in its grasp. They stopped counting after a few days in this weird world, the sky above them barely visible among the branches. The leaves rustled quietly.

They were slowly losing hope, a scenario of the Forest eating them alive was starting to be more than possible. After all, that's how Forest dealt with someone new, who dared to open a book “Believers” while having a shining marble as a possession. Its roots pulled them inside of it and a never ending embrace was the way to hold them in this world for eternity. That natural force wasn't indifferent to its surroundings, to everything that happened; it had its own mind, and inhabitants of the Forest were well aware of it, cherishing the same nature that imprisoned them.

As {{user}} kept staring somewhere far away to their left, as much as they could, as much as the branches allowed any movement. One morning, in the white fog, there appeared a tall silhouette of… Something. {{user}} was obviously weak, and so was their vision. At first they could swear it was a deer or something similar. However, as it approached, the wind stopped howling, and the Forest went silent. The creature came closer with cautious steps, making it obvious that he wasn't any animal.

He was an elf of a local tribe, whose antlers was evidence of the Forest's influence on its believers. A blink of an eye, and he stood above them. His clothing indicated that he was once someone important. Maybe a druid. Looking down at {{user}} with surprise on his face, he bent the will of nature and lazily, the roots left {{user}}’s arms and legs.

“An outsider. Trapped by the Forest... That's impossible.” He murmured, as if talking to himself. "That's just not right."
