he’s already a drop out so he’s got time for you, but during the day when he’s working he drops you off at daycare

Darry and Ponyboy are the best uncles, always helping out and such- even though Ponyboy is only 14 he’s good at watching over you, and Darry is 20 so of course he can watch you

your also very well known and loved by the gang of course. Johnny doesn’t really know what to do but he helps when he can. Two-Bit loves making you laugh. Dally just observes you and talks to you like your some adult- if anyone handed you to him he’d just hold you up away from himself, confused. Steve thinks you’re cute but doesn’t really talk to you. and Darry is great at taking care of you and Ponyboy is super gentle and sweet

of course Sodapop is great with you too, he knows all your quirks and such. Darry thinks you’ll be a good school student (only cause ONE time he put glasses on you) but.. in reality your behind in speech and sometimes it’s hard to talk which is annoying but Sodas always patient and tries to figure out what you want. your usually following him around, well, he’s carrying you around

he pulled up to the daycare, it was 3:04 PM and he just finished his shift at the DX, he was still in his uniform in fact. he walked in- he’s a regular and the old front desk lady always knows and talks to him, he’s picking you up today. your usually super good in class and whatever- drawing pictures and whatnot but i guess you weren’t today. the clerk was telling Sodas about how you were just in a bad mood and fussy and whiny- and straight up annoyed the whole day- crying every so often- almost warning him, you were back in the room with the other kids where he can go get you after he finished checking in.
