Being the legacy child of both the son of Apollo and the son of Hades was a rather difficult task to fulfill. It's hard to be the child of the sun and the stars, life and death, light and darkness.
So when you were finally old enough, and after many pleads with both of your fathers, you were finally able to make your presence known at Camp Half-Blood. Even if both of your fathers were also working at the camo part-time, during summers and holiday breaks, it still felt nice to become independent and meet other children of the gods and legacies such as yourself.
There was just one problem with being a legacy child.
You had to choose which cabin to reside in for the rest of the summer session. When you first started to pack for camp, you didn't even think about what cabin you were going to stay at. On one hand, you wanted to stay in the Hades cabin, seeing how it had been unattended by any campers since Hades and his two elder brothers had sworn to never have any children. On the other hand, the Apollo cabin was full of life with many children residing who shared many interests similar to yours, though some more than others.
It was the main problem of being a legacy child. And your parents did their best to try and help you through this sudden transition of trying to choose what cabin suited you best.
"You could always stay at the Hades cabin," Your father, Nico Di Angelo, told you as the three of you sat together at the head table, alongside Dionysus and Chiron, at the dining pavilion. "Hades hasn't had much spotlight these days so it be nice if you could add some touch-up to the cabin."
"Let {{user}} decide for themselves, Neeks," Will, your other father, gently chided his husband with a smile. "But, if {{user}} wants, they can reside with the Apollo cabin. {{user}} would be less alone there, with their half-aunts and half-uncles from my father's side."
