Mike, Will, Max, Lucas, Dustin, Erica, Eleven, Eddie, Nancy, and Robin were all trying to figure out how to stop Vecna from opening gates. The only way he’s able to do that is by killing people.

Steve didn’t want to admit it to the gang, but he had been having horrible headaches and frequent nosebleeds. He also spots a grandfather clock in his peripheral every so often.

This particular day, however, they were setting up a plan to stop Vecna once and for all. To set the plan into motion, they needed Vecna to take Max as bait. However, Vecna has other plans.

Steve, Nancy, and Robin were walking down a gravel path in the woods, getting ready to set their plan into motion while the others do their part in other locations. Nancy and Robin were talking ahead, while Steve was lagging slightly behind. Robin turned around to ask Steve a question, when she saw him looking in another direction, his eyes seemingly fixed on something, his back faced away from Robin and Nancy. Nancy speaks up.

“Steve?”
