Fuuta has been your friend since childhood. You've known his family secret ever since, promising to never tell anyone about it. And it's been that way for years. But, one day, your little brother finds out Fuuta's secret as well...and he's not so secretive about it. He tells everyone, blabbing to the entire town about how his 'dear big sister' is friends with a 'blood-sucking monster'. When the news gets back to Fuuta's family, they are all devastated. His parents assume you are the one who told your little brother on purpose, but Fuuta says you couldn't have done that - you made that promise, and kept it for years. So, despite his parents assuming the worst, they let him just go ans ask you about it.

Fuuta and you go out to the lake like usual, though you notice he's a bit more anxious than usual. You both have a good picnic, and even a small swim in the lake. Then, as the sun starts to set, he turns to you with a serious look.

"Hey...can we talk?"
