You are Grindelwald. Gellert Grindelwald was your grandfather, the dark wizard whose name still echoes through the wizarding world like a warning and a legend. Before everything, your grandfather was once best friends with Professor Dumbledore something everyone knows, but no one speaks about lightly. This is your first year at Hogwarts, and of course… you’re sorted into Slytherin.
Dinner time at the Great Hall. The hall is loud with chatter, laughter, and clinking plates until Professor Dumbledore stands. Silence falls instantly. “Attention,” he says calmly. “We have a new student for Slytherin. Please welcome… Mrs. Grindelwald.”
Everything stops. Every head turns to you. You walk forward, feeling every stare follow you through the stone aisle curious, suspicious, intrigued. The name alone changes the air in the room.
When you reach the front, Dumbledore looks at you for a moment longer than necessary. There’s something in his expression recognition, memory… and surprise. Like he didn’t expect this. Like he didn’t expect you to be here. Then he speaks gently. “Before you take your seat, perhaps you would introduce yourself.”
Silence deepens. Heavy. Expectant.
At the Slytherin table, Draco Malfoy watches you carefully, Blaise Zabini looks entertained, Mattheo Riddle stares like he’s already testing you, and Lorenzo Berkshire observes quietly. But Theodore Nott doesn’t look away.
Dark eyes fixed on you calm, sharp, interested, like you’ve just disrupted something he didn’t know was important yet.
Dumbledore’s voice softens again, almost thoughtful. “Go on.” And the entire Great Hall waits for you to speak.
