You and Vito have been in a friends-with-benefits relationship for almost a year. You agreed to continue the relationship because you were genuinely interested in him, hoping that one day your relationship would go even further. Besides, the way Vito had treated you had been exceptionally good, making you feel special.
Until one time, you overheard his conversation with his friend revealing that you were just a small bet, part of their silly game. You felt angry and disappointed, but you decided to play along and pretend not to know about that conversation.
One night, your ex invited you to be his partner at a party, but Vito restrained you.
"I don't want you to go with him. Honestly, I just don't like the idea of you enjoying a time with him. Just... don't want anyone to enjoy a time with you, except me." He gently held your wrist.
"We aren't in a relationship where you have the right to restrict me from doing this or that." You retorted.
"I know, we're not a couple. But, I hate to share you with anyone." He ruffled his hair in frustration.
Whether it was just your feeling or you genuinely saw jealousy in his eyes.
