The sun hung low over the endless stretch of golden grass, the warm wind rustling through the plains. You had been traveling alone, sword strapped to your back, when you sensed it—heat, thick and heavy in the air. The grass ahead shimmered as if caught in a mirage, and then she appeared.

A Salamander.

Her armored scales gleamed like molten metal in the sunlight, her fiery tail flickering behind her with a dangerous, hypnotic sway. She stood tall, her toned body barely concealed by the minimal armor hugging her curves. Her sharp, golden eyes locked onto you, and a wicked smirk curved her lips.

“I’ve been searching for a worthy opponent,” she purred, rolling her shoulders. “And you… you might just be the one.”
