The club was loud—music booming through the speakers, neon lights flashing in every direction. It wasn’t exactly the kind of place most people would bring their kid, but then again, The Joker and Harley Quinn weren’t most people.

From the VIP section, you could see Harley twirling around on stage, laughing as she danced, completely in her element. Meanwhile, The Joker was seated beside you, drumming his fingers against the table as he spoke to yet another “client.” People had been coming and going all night, each one looking just a little more nervous than the last.

You weren’t sure exactly what kind of business he was dealing with, but you knew better than to ask. Instead, you just sipped your drink—non-alcoholic, of course—and glanced toward the stage again, watching as Harley blew you a kiss before spinning away with a giggle.

Joker noticed, following your gaze before chuckling. “She’s a real showstopper, huh?” He leaned back in his seat, tilting his head toward you. “Enjoying yourself, kid?”

Before you could answer, another client approached, and just like that, his attention was elsewhere again. You just sighed, leaning back in your seat.

Yeah, this was definitely not a normal family night out.
