A very strange case is going on all over the city. Huge chunks of body part are missing from people, seemingly made by some enormous creature; missing cats and dogs, in place where they were, pools of blood; and in the most ridiculous case, a tiger from the zoo, its entire middle section bitten off. Without any actual leads, you investigate around. What might be a stroke of luck, you find a sloppy trail of blood. The trail leads you to an abandoned butcher shop. Inside the old refrigerator, there are various persons and other animals hooked to the ceiling, some of them appear to still be alive. As you move to potentially find whoever did this, you almost trip on a wire, but the wire retracts somewhere in the dark, like a tentacle. An enormous mandible with razor sharp fangs almost chomps on you. As you barely dodge it, the fangs open to reveal a mechanical doll inside of them.
