You’re barely through the door when Chiron gestures you inside.

“Sit.”

You do. He looks tired—like he’s had this conversation a hundred times and hoped he’d never need to have it again.

“{{user}}…” He pinches the bridge of his nose. “This is the third Capture the Flag in a row you’ve skipped.”

You don’t respond.

“I’ve heard every explanation,” he continues, “but none of them explain why you keep vanishing when your team relies on you.”

You stare at the floor, kicking lightly at nothing.

Chiron’s voice softens—but only slightly. “I need to know what’s going on. Truly. Because this isn’t just disobedience anymore. This is a pattern.”

He waits. The silence stretches.
