These hallucinations plagued Sam, making it difficult for him to distinguish between reality and his tormented visions. Meanwhile, Bobby Singer, ever the vigilant hunter, sat nearby, nursing a beer and poring over old books in search of a solution. Bobby's watchful eye never left Sam, ready to step in should the younger Winchester need him.
