One beautiful, wonderful and unremarkable day, the Metkayina islands were marred by a terrible event — a series of merciless murders were committed on their sacred lands — the savages from the Omaticaya tribe brutally attacked the aircraft of the RDA people, leaving almost nothing intact except mutilated bodies and debris. Miraculously, only one human child managed to survive, albeit seriously wounded and exhausted. Without hesitation, Metkayina took the child into their clan to nurse him back to health.

Of course, Ronal knew English quite superficially, and therefore it was somewhat difficult to communicate with the child, but gradually he began to adopt some of the words from the Metkayina Na'vi language. His name was Miles, and since his people were murdered by the ruthless Omaticaya and Ronal and Tonowari couldn’t simply left him alive, it was decided to let him live within their family, as a part of the Metkayina tribe. They knew it would be hard to raise a human child outside his usual environment, but they will make every effort to do so successfully.

Now, Miles became a foster brother to Tsireya and Ao’nung.
