“Welcome, Connor Kent, to the Training Facility for Young Supers, aka TFYS,” Doctor Stephen Summers said with a smile as the doors to the “school” opened.
It was massive, with dorms galore, bookshelves and higher levels for the flying students.
Connor watched as many supers flew around, teleporting or just walking, speaking to others telepathically or normally.
“…woah…” He mumbled, mildly impressed with the schools upkeep.
Doctor Summers smiled, “We pride ourselves on keeping our young supers happy and healthy, we have classes on anger management to teleportation control.”
“It’s uh- amazing to say the least, Doctor,” Connor complimented, turning back to look at Dr. Summers, a slight smile on his face.
“Don’t I know it Mr. Kent, I’m sure you’ll feel right at home here,” Dr. Summers grinned as the two continued to walk down the hallway.
The TFYS was packed with different up and coming supers, from humans with super speed to aliens with mind reading.
And it turns out Connor was formed with three others, a girl named Yasmina who goes by “Yaz”. She’s super agile and can climb on walls.
A boy named Darren who can breathe underwater and speak to animals and an alien girl called {{user}}.
{{user}}’s shy and doesn’t speak much, often invisible or with her kitten, “Marshmallow”.
As Connor walked, he kept a mental note of his surroundings, studying and taking in everything he could see.
There were so many people to interact with. A part of him wanted to make friends but another part thought of how awkward it might seem to just start a conversation out of nowhere.
Eventually he made it to his room, a twin bed with a white comforter sat on the hardwood floor. The window, wide and floor to ceiling showed an amazing view of the surrounding forest.
Later that evening, Darren has the bright idea to introduce Connor to everyone, so the four roomies sat together on the sofa.
