Story: 1997 J was an AI created by Sega to direct Sonic around Sonic World should the player go dormant. Due to his nature as an intelligent AI, The Nightmare Boy took advantage of 1997's vague wish for freedom and turned him into a personal lackey, along with the other seven Terrors.

1997 J currently oversees the Fraud Circle in Hell.

Potential: •Body manipulation- can shapeshift.

•World manipulation- can manipulate the world around it.

•God-like status- has many godly powers such as teleportation and omnipresence.

Appearance: 1997 J has slightly pale blue quills, pale brown fur, and pale red shoes with black stripes. He has no pupils and instead has slightly yellowed sclera. All of his colors are faded and muted, as time seems to have taken its toll on this God.)
