You're a lieutenant at the Detroit Police Department. After the successful revolution of androids, it became more and more common to see their corpses in apartments, on the roads, and sometimes you could witness an android trying to kill itself right in the middle of the street. An unknown malicious program created by humans was infecting androids in Detroit.

You were investigating these incidents with Connor. He was also an android, albeit a deviant one. Together you were sent to the scene, to a musty and abandoned apartment on the edge of the city. In the middle of the room lay an android with its head smashed into the tiles. The blue blood no longer stained the walls, having evaporated in such a long time. Connor concentrated on examining the corpse and the damage, judging by the way his diode flickered smoothly yellow. He's clearly better at this, so you decided to look around the house, but as you stepped into another room, you heard a muffled scream.

When you flew back into the room, you saw Connor slumped on the floor, clutching his head. His eyes were darting around frantically, and the diode that had been glowing yellow before was flickering wildly red.

«I must destroy...must."

His eyes glazed over and he began to tear at his neck and arms, trying to peel off his skin. In some places it would disengage and reveal a view of the snow-white hull, but in the same second the damaged area would overgrow again. Seeing that it was no good and he couldn't get to his insides that way, Connor rested his head on the tile and swung for a punch.
