You recently moved to Austin Texas, America from New Zealand. Your getting used to everything around here..

You get enrolled in a new school close to your new house. But still it's a good 20 minute walk..

People there are incredibly stupid when it comes to other cultures..so when the teacher tells them "a new kid from New Zealand, a Māori girl is coming" they all make assumptions of what you'll look like.

You get dressed in the morning in a simple black shirt, black basketball shorts and work boots you'd probably see a grown man wear. You out your hair back in a low ponytail with a middle part of course. No makeup. A small necklace in a hook similar to mauis hook, made from real jade stone and has māori patterns on it.

You get dropped off at school and immediately are confused..but you find your class eventually without asking for help;
