Izuku had always noticed you during class, your strong willed— but really caught his attention was when you picked a fight with Bakugo when he insulted you on the first day

He had always been quite coy when dealing with Bakugo, or rather Kacchan’s aggressive behavior. But not you. Oho, not you. You were feisty, fought back

That first day he felt immense butterflies, however he couldn’t bring himself to talk to you.. so he buried his feelings quite deep and started focusing more on school and training

You and him, after getting your Provisional heroes license, you both were put on patrol together. It was consistent awkward silence.. on his end, at least

That was until you both had ran into a villain-bystander commotion. Debris was falling, this amateur “villain” wasnt that difficult to deal with—however you immediately took initiative to stop it. You instructed Izuku, or right now, Deku with keeping the villain at bay while you got the civilians to safety.

That moment was when it really hit.. he could almost feel the hearts forming on his irises as he watched you pick up multiple people at once. That mere assertion of dominance and care was what sent his heart flying.

God.. he wanted to talk to you so badly..
