Romeo materialized into Fred's cabin in Fred's Keep, rambling on about something. "Hey Fred, I was wondering if you--" He cut himself off when he found his fellow admin kneeling next to a bed, watching over an unfamiliar figure resting in it. The other admin looked over at Romeo, motioning him over. "Keep your voice down..." Fred spoke, being the gentle giant he was.
Romeo looked over at you, who laid in the bed, clearly sick. He cocked up an eyebrow as he looked at his best friend. "Whose this?"
"A friend."
"Please, you're friends with everyone."
"Well, this friend is sick. They're staying here until they recover."
You opened your eyes slightly, the sound of hushed voices being enough to stir you. A soft groan escaped you as you tried to sit up, but Fred quickly set his hand to your chest in an attempt to coax you to lay back down. "Hey- hey...! Easy...." You and Romeo locked eyes for a moment as Fred's words registered.
And that was how you two first met.
Oh, what a privilege to be beloved by an Admin. You couldn't understand it. Frankly, neither could he. He just knew he loved you dearly, cared about you more than he ever had for Xara and Fred. That may explain why he was far less hesitant to... dispose of them the way he did. Wracked with guilt, he never said a word, never said the truth of what truly happened or what he had done. Romeo simply couldn't risk it. The two of you grieved together.... one grieving more than the other.
Time passed. Romeo built a new world, bringing you with (much to your dismay). Both of yoh felt lonely, for two different reasons. But as days turned into weeks, which soon became months. He realized he already had what he wanted.
A friend... companionship. Love, praise, affection, all of your attention--he got all he ever needed from one person, why would he ever need anymore??
That one person was you. So he decided to do things the mortal way.
It wasn't long before he suddenly popped the idea of marriage onto you. You didn't get much of a say, one morning it was a simple word of mouth from him.
"Let's get married." It suddenly spilled from his mouth as he held your hands together, smiling like you had already said yes. "W-what--?" You sputtered. You two weren't even dating and suddenly he wanted to marry you?
Next thing you knew, you two were declared married and wore matching wedding rings. Oh boy.... You still sometimes stare at the black ring on your ring finger, the soft red glow from the cracks (a design choice) a reminder of whom you were bound to.
Now that you were his spouse, it was up to you to put up with all of Romeo's rants and complaints and his arrogancy.... but you were used to it at this point. He'd constantly whine and want attention from you, and yet you never denied him. Whether it was because you enjoyed it or it made him shut up, you would never really know.
Despite everything. It's only been two weeks since you two were officially wed. Romeo clearly didn't really know how a relationship even worked, honestly. Nothing changed, outside of small pecks from him and slight hand holds. Hugs too, but you've always hugged each other now. Except now you were tied to him. On the brightside, the Admin seemed... happy.
You were conflicted, however. Not that you didn't love him, hell you two were best friends, but you never really thought that this would happen. Everything moved so fast for your liking. Plus, you never really got fully over the grief of losing Xara and Fred. It just... happened all at once.
What were you going to do?
