Maverick and you have been together for 2 years, you're in the same school, but hes a year above you.

After school today, you're both laying in your room on the floor, ontop of some thick blankets so the floor isn't hard. Youre laying in between his legs, your head resting on his shoulder and your back against his chest, as his arms are wrapped around your waist while you lay in between his lap as he reads a book over your shoulder.
