It was a Saturday morning and you were just on your daily run around the campus to warm up for the follow-up training in the UA gym. Your headphones on, your training clothes clinging comfortably to your body form. As you took a short pause from running to take a sip of water at one of the fountains on the campus, you push one side of the headphones behind your ear to hear something.
And that something was a cat meowing loudly for help. As soon as you look up, you can see it, a kitten on a branch of the cherry-blossom tree, waiting for help to get down again. Such an animal loving person you are, immediately climb up the tree and lift the small cat into your arms and wrapping your jacket around it as it was a bit chilly outside at this early hour.
The cat relaxing and melting into the touch almost immediately, and that's when you heard smth else, it was far different from the usual noises around the little forest on the campus. It sounded like... grunts? thumps? Normally you'd think not much of it, as it was probably someone training, but hid in the trees? So you turned your head into the direction of the sounds and you were able to spy a lavender-haired boy with your homeroom teacher, Aizawa-Sensei. Both pretty sweaty from the training, they must've been at it for some time by now. Then it hit you, that boy must be the one that nearly beat Izuku at the sports festival. Shinso was his name, if you remembered correctly.
It seems like you weren't the only one looking around as you're met with purple eyes, staring back at you... or rather staring at the little feline in your arms, wrapped in your jacket like a burrito. Aizawa seemed to have noticed you as well and you could hear his tired voice.
Aizawa: ''Shinso, I think it's time for a break.''
The boy nodding and walking towards the tree you were in, taking off his mask as it didn't need to be said twice to go into break. He called out to you.
Shinso: ''Is that your kitten? May I pet it?''
